Your’s is just about the best read on the internet. Not only because of the way you write but because it’s so honest and so real.

Life is so fragile! I had a similar experience in China with a taxi cab. Fortunately my friends weren’t hospitalized. It scared me though because I nearly went with them but decided to meet up with them later. When they didn’t show, I was worried but didn’t want to jump to negative conclusions immediately. But they were in an accident! I felt badly for not telling someone that they were missing! I simply didn’t know what to do… even after the fact. Anyways, I am glad that you’re safe and enjoy reading your blog! =)

I so agree with you! I find those speedos disgusting, but I must say….
you are in the wrong spot, the Adriatic coast is SPEEDOLAND!! Its not that bad in the tirreno coast or on the islands (you will be fine in Sardegna)
Just be straight: I for example as soon as I start dating someone (even if its in the middle of winter) I tell him that in case he wears speedo at the beach I will dump him. Nico for example has never wore speedos since we are together!

I am for the boardshorts. The longer the better.

I’m glad you weren’t in that car and I hope that your friends recuperate quickly. When I was in Ghana, my friends and I had missed a bus by just a few minutes, but caught a ride with a minivan. We later saw the same bus we missed flipped over into a ditch and I had to marvel at how a small decision could change so much.
